Dangerous Goods Testing - Cargo Ship

Dangerous Goods Testing

If your company transports packaged goods by either road, rail, or sea, you are required by various Australian and International regulations to assess your products for hazards to ensure their safe transport.

The hazard assessment and subsequent classification of these products is complex, requiring a high degree of both chemical and metallurgical knowledge and an understanding of the applicable transport regulations to ensure correct assessment and classification. The outcomes from a wrong classification can be extremely costly, as well as having potentially significant reputational damage to your company's brand.

HRL has the capability to test a wide range of packaged goods for classification against Dangerous Goods Codes, including Australian Dangerous Goods (ADG), International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG), and classification of Solid Bulk Cargoes in accordance with International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes (IMSBC) requirements.
